Tom Tailor is a brand that I wasn't familiar with until a reader suggested I check them out. I must say, I quite like this German brand's apparel. Simple, preppy classics that are comfortable and well made with a distinctly New England flavor.

Following on from my previous post, no preppy wardrobe is complete without a garish and badly knitted festive sweater complete with knitted reindeer or snowflakes in vibrant colours! Traditionally, these are presented as gifts from grandparents or are purchased in thrift stores.

A reasonably impressive performance from the USA and lacklustre performances from the leading nations has marked the start of the Rugby World Cup 2011. I have mentioned before that I am a huge, HUGE, rugby fan and thus I'd been anticipating this year's tournament like a fat kid about to embark on his first visit to the sweet shop. Unfortunately, I could not be in New Zealand this year to watch any of it live. A real shame as New Zealand is a wonderful country.
