As I pack my things for my rowing training this evening, I realise that my wellington boots (unfortunately my boat club has a "muddy" slipway as we row on a tidal stretch of river) are absolutely filthy and the insole and lining has been worn to pieces. Sigh... time to invest a new pair methinks.
